Rating:A Must Read!

In an advanced world when inhabitants of Earth are able to set colonies on other worlds, radiation, bombs, and missles bring forth strange diseases and plagues, and the world, as we know it, drastically changes. Millions perish from new diseases. Some become ill and weak. Others, somehow, are immune. But, perhaps, the worse are those who have mutated into misshapen, cannibalistic creatures known as Rippers. As if the reality of living amongst Rippers is not enough for the survivors of this new world, they also have to live in fear of Hugo Tolbrokian, an ego maniac monster who has

proclaimed himself emperor of the world.

As Hugo Tolbrokian's evil empire grows, the survivors try to maintain their freedom from his empire. Out of the midst of Tolbrokian's chaos rises Captain Ryan T. Lancaster, who commands the Sea Huntress, the world's largest submarine. Captain Lancaster and his crew of rebels travel the seas in search of freedom and peace from Tolbrokian's evil deeds. Can Captain Lancaster keep his crew safe from the flesh-eating Rippers and over-throw Tolbrokian's evil empire? Or will

Tolbrokian drown Lancaster in his sea of destruction?

Tim Quinton mixes well a possible future with a definite past. On the one hand, there is an enormous submarine equiped with futuristic "toys" such as those found in the best sci-fi films of today. On the other, he has piracy. The two genres may sound as though they would not mix well together, but Mr. Quinton combines both expertly. The Sea Huntress is a very interesting and entertaining story with a refreshing new concept of good versus evil.

From the Publisher

Imprisoned by the rest of the universe after the Devastation, the Earth developed conditions much like those in the Dark Ages. From the ashes rose an evil empire that spread and quickly enslaved many of those who had survived. Some people tried to resist the spread of the empire. Others took a different route in maintaining their freedom. One of the rebels was Captain Ryan T. Lancaster, who commanded the world's largest and most advanced submarine. His ship carried the skull and crossed bones upon its sail, just as the pirate ships of the bygone era. The captain had to be constantly vigilant against those who would see him and his crew brought in chains to the throne of the evil emperor. The captain sought freedom and peace, but it seemed that at every turn he was to face spies, saboteurs and flesh-eating creatures known as Rippers.
